This policy explains what information People'z Choice Cleaning Services ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, request a quote, book a cleaning or pay us, and what we do with it. We're a local cleaning business in Bradenton, Florida. We use your information to give you a quote, clean your home or office, bill you and keep in touch about your cleanings. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.
What we collect
What you give us
- Your name, phone number, email address and service address.
- Details of the clean you want: property type, rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms, the service, add-ons, how often, your preferred day and arrival window, and any notes you add.
- Changes you make in your account, like an updated phone number or address.
What we create while working with you
- Your quotes, cleanings, invoices and payment records: amounts, dates, how you paid, and any refunds.
- Before and after photos of the areas we clean. We take them to document our work and settle any questions about it.
- Public property details for your service address, such as square footage and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, which we look up to price your quote accurately.
What's collected automatically
- A sign-in cookie when you sign in to your account (see Cookies).
- Technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting and security providers process to deliver the site and block automated abuse.
We never see or store your full card number. Card payments are entered on Square's secure checkout page, not on our site.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your quote, schedule your cleaning and show up at the right place and time.
- To run your account, where you can see your cleanings, invoices and shared photos.
- To bill you, take payments, send receipts and payment reminders, and issue refunds.
- To email you about your service: sign-in links, quote and booking confirmations, changes, cancellations and reminders.
- After your first paid cleaning, to send you one email asking for a review. We send it once, ever.
- To keep our business records and meet our tax and legal obligations.
- To protect the site from spam and misuse.
We don't send marketing newsletters. If we ever start, we'll ask you first.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the companies that run parts of our service for us, and only what each one needs:
- Square: online card payments and refunds.
- Microsoft (Azure and Microsoft 365): hosts this website and stores our customer, quote, cleaning and invoice records, photos, and our work calendar.
- Brevo: sends our emails.
- Google: suggests addresses as you type yours, and serves the site's fonts.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile): checks that forms are sent by a person, not a bot.
- RentCast: we send it your service address to look up the property details described above.
Each of these companies handles information under its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or someone else's, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business. We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
Your photos
Before and after photos stay in our private records. You'll see the ones we share to your account. We don't post photos of your home publicly, on social media or in advertising without your written permission.
Cookies
We use two cookies, and only once you sign in:
- pc_session keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Your browser's scripts can't read it.
- pc_signed_in just tells our pages to show "My Account" instead of "Sign in". It holds no personal information.
Signing out removes both. Google and Cloudflare may set their own cookies when the address suggestions or the robot check load. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and cleaning history while you're a customer. Invoices and payment records are kept for [OWNER: e.g. 7 years] for tax purposes. Photos are kept for [OWNER: e.g. 1 year after the cleaning]. A quote that never turns into a booking is deleted after [OWNER: e.g. 2 years].
Your choices
You can see and update your contact details and address in your account at any time. Email us at info@peoplezchoice.com to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll delete what we can. We may need to keep payment and invoice records for as long as the law requires.
How we protect it
The site runs on HTTPS. Signing in uses a one-time link emailed to you, with no password to steal, and the link expires soon after it's sent. Our records are kept in Microsoft 365 and only our business can access them. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see your information and what we collect in the first place.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If the change is significant, we'll also email customers who have an account.
